After a battle with Breast Cancer in 2017, Rose was going to multiple places for her treatments, surgeries, reconstruction and recovery. She felt the uncomfortable having to reexplain her story to each new doctor or practitioner. She was constantly reliving her experience rather than healing from it. Rose and Dave decided there needed to be a place that one could go to where they were more than just their illness.
